Each doctor is scared of amputating a limb of a young, healthy, wounded lad, even though they know it might be a better solution – says Andriy Oleksandrovych Buchok, a traumatologist working at the Traumatology and Orthopaedics ward of the Uzhhorod Central City Hospital. The facility is one of the recipients of the medical equipment obtained in the fundraiser organised by the Institute for Emergency Medicine and Medycyna Praktyczna. Among dr Buchok's patients are three soldiers - Vasyl, Pavlo, and Stepan.
