Since Medycyna Praktyczna and the Institute of Emergency Medicine announced the fundraiser for medical aid, until teh end of 2022 we’ve delivered to Ukraine medical equipment and resources worth almost 4,4 mln USD.

We sent:

10,951 surgical tools
1,255 sets of external fixators
1,202 accessories and spare parts for medical equipment
40 ICU beds and mattresses
239 rehabilitation equipment
64 multiparameter monitors
40 ultrasound devices
143 infusion pumps
22 ventilators
30 rapid infusors
37 pacemakers
10 operating room equipment (tables, lamps)
7 blood analysers
6 neonatal incubators
5 X-ray machines
3 surgical diathermy
2 endoscopy towers
17,728 tourniquets
1,125 first aid kits
2 industrial engine generators (powering the entire hospital)

We practically live here On the map of places receiving medical aid financed by the fundraiser organised almost at the very beginning of Russian invasion on Ukraine by Medycyna Praktyczna and the Institute for Emergency Medicine, Uzhgorod is a very important place. Late autumn we were hosted there by Andrij Oleksandrovych Buchok, a traumatologist at the Orthopaedics and Traumatology ward at the Uzhgorod City Clinical Hospital.
Effectively and economically Russia’s invasion on Ukraine has been going on for 9 months now. Ukraine still needs our help. The country is more and more exhausted by the horrors of war.
Cooperation is key Knowing full-well that cooperation is the key to a quickly and effectively provided aid, the Institute for Emergency Medicine and Medycyna Praktyczna had been working within a network of organisations since the very first days of our fundraiser.
